Aidan ‘Aidy’ Peter White is a back of Leeds United. He was born on 10 October 1991 in Otley, England.
Aidy’s career took off in the academy of Leeds United in 2002, when the footballer was 11. He penned his first professional contract with the club in 2008 and made his competitive début in August the same year. White lost a place in the main squad due to a disappointing performance in the loss to Peterborough United, but the management decided to extend his contract till June 2012.
The back suffered a knee injury, but all the problems could not crush his dedication, and he returned to training at the beginning of the 2009/2010 season. Aidy managed to become the pivot of the team once again and was voted Leeds United Young Player of the Year.
At the beginning of the following year, the footballer picked up a back injury, which ruled him out for a month. After White made a full recovery, the management of ‘The Peacocks’ decided to send him on loan to Oldham Athletic. The back managed to gain the necessary playing practice and regain his imperious form, which could be proved by four goals in 24 matches for the temporary club during his spell.
In the 2011/2012 season, Aidy returned to Leeds and started to perform for the main squad at once. The footballer made 65 appearances and fired one goal for the team as of December 2012.
In 2009, White featured in one game for the England national U-19 squad. In 2011, the back changed his international allegiance and contributed one goal in ten games for the Republic of Ireland national U-21 team.
