Alan Kasaev is a midfielder for Rubin Kazan. He was born on 8 April, 1986 in Vladikavkaz. Kasaev plays equally well with his both feet, has excellent technique and high speed, successfully assists the offensive line.
Kasaev made his debut appearance for FC Titan Reutov, where he started 14 matches. After the spell at Titan Kasaev moved to Shinnik Yaroslavl. In 2004 Alan joined Zenit St. Petersburg and debuted for the club in the Russian Cup in 2005, in a match against his former club Shinnik.
Kasaev didn’t manage to gain a foothold in Zenit starting lineup due to an injury. In 2007 Zenit loaned Alan to Alania Vladikavkaz. For the new club, Kasaev played 36 matches and scored 3 goals.
During the winter transfer window Alan returned to Zenit from loan, but the club didn’t extend his contract. Kasaev signed for Kuban Krasnodar and his career as a midfielder went well. His play impressed the head coach Tarkhanov and Kuban signed the talented halfback for the 2008/09 season. Kasaev quickly become a regular in the first squad, and even got into Boris Stukalov’s Russia U-21 team. In his debut match for the national team Kasaev scored a goal against the Bosnian youth team.
In autumn 2008 Kuban was promoted to the Premier League, where Kasayev caught the eye of Rubin Kazan. The club signed the midfielder in 2009. Alan concluded a 3,5-year contract with Rubin.
As part of Rubin Alan Kasaev became the Champion of Russia in 2009. In 2010 he won Russian Super Cup.
In 2013 Kasaev was loaned to Dynamo Moscow.
Since 2011 Alan Kasaev is called up to represent the colors of Russia-2.
