A Cameroonian footballer Albert Meyong Zé operates as a striker for Kabuscorp football club, Angola. He was born on 19 October 1980 in Yaoundé.
His career started in 1997 at the local club - Canon Yaoundé. But he had spent only a year playing for the team before he moved to Europe. In 1998, Albert signed a contract with Ravenna, Italy. He made only 7 appearances and scored two goals for the Italian side.
In 2000, a move to Vitória de Setúbal happened. After a five-year contract had been penned, Meyong clinched into the first eleven and made starts in almost all fixtures. In total, he appeared 150 times and amassed 53 goals. In 2005, he netted the winning goal to Benfica and so his club won the 2005 Portuguese Cup.
In the summer 2005, Albert penned a two-year contract with Belenenses. Over the course of a season, the striker scored 17 goals in 28 matches.
Meyong opted to join Levante without waiting for the end of the spell with Belenenses. So, in 2006, he moved to Spain, but his new club had some financial problems and the striker was loaned out by Albacete. He appeared 13 times for the temporary team. In January 2008, another loan followed. Albert came back to Portugal to serve loan to Belenenses.
In August 2008, the footballer joined Braga, where he became the team’s top goal scorer, netting 21 goals in 65 matches.
In 2012 Meyong returned to Vitória de Setúbal for one year and later on moved to Angola joining Kabuscorp football club.
In 2004, the footballer earned his first call for the Cameroon national squad. In total, he made 12 appearances and scored 4 goals for the team.
