Then he returned to Treviso and at the end of the summer 2008 he moved to Vicenza. He was used as a second-choice keeper for a season and a half and in January 2010 Frison joined Genoa for a six-month loan. There he was the third choice.
In the summer of 2010 he returned to Vicenza and became a regular, but in January was loaned to Frosinone, where he was used as a first choice and made 17 appearances. In July 2012 Frison moved to Calcio Catania signing a five-year deal. That was a part-exchange deal and Raffaele Imparato moved in the opposite direction.
He played for the Italy U16, U17, U18, U19 and U20 teams. He was a part of the U20 team at the 2007/08 Four Nations Tournament.
