An Argentine footballer Alejandro Hernán Martinuccio plays for Cruzeiro as a striker. Alejandro was born on 16 December 1987 in Buenos Aires.
In 2007, Martinuccio signed for Nueva Chicago and his professional career started off. Before this had happened, the striker spent several years at the youth department of the club. Alejandro spent three years at Chicago netting nine goals in 17 matches.
In 2009, the footballer was scouted by Peñarol. In 2011, his club reached the Copa Libertadores Finals. Peñarol lost to Santos in that competition.
In 2011, Alejandro penned a contract with Fluminense. The player made 14 appearances for the new club and was loaned out by Villarreal. Martinuccio scored his debut goal on 4 March 2012 in a match against Zaragoza. He appeared 13 times for the temporary club. In the summer 2012, the striker agreed on a deal with Cruzeiro.
