Aleksandr Amisulashvili is a defender for Krylya Sovetov. He was born on 20 August 1982 in Telavi, Georgia.
From 1998 to 1999 Aleksandr played for the senior squad of his alma mater FC Kakheti Telavi, totaling 25 appearances and 3 goals. In 1999 he penned a deal with Torpedo Kutaisi. Over the next several years Aleksandr has changed several clubs. After a brief stay at Iberia Samtredia the defender played for Dinamo Tbilisi. In 2002, while playing for the Tbilisi club, Amisulashvili was called up to the national team of Georgia. After winning the national championship and the Cup of Georgia, Aleksandr went abroad.
From 2004 to 2005 the Georgian defender played for Dynamo-2 Kyiv and then had a short loan spell at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.
In 2005, Aleskandr returned to Dinamo Tbilisi, but then was once again loaned to Ukrainian club Tavriya Simferopol and then to Russian Shinnik Yaroslavl. He totaled 28 appearances and 1 goal for the two clubs. From 2007 to 2010 Amisulashvili defended the colors of PFC Spartak Nalchik, where he was the team’s key player, featuring in 98 matches and scoring 11 goals.
In July 2010, Aleksandr moved to Turkish Kayserispor. The head coach Shota Arveladze trusted his countryman Amisulashvili and made him a regular in the first team. In February 2011, Aleksandr moved to FC Krasnodar. In January 2013 Aleksandr moved to Krylya Sovetov.
From 2000 to 2002 Aleksandr Amisulashvili played for Georgia U19 and U21. Since 2002 he is periodically called up to the national team.
