Aleksandr Kolomeytsev was born on 21 February 1989 in Surgut, Russia. The midfielder is well-known for his distinct and powerful shot.
Kolomeytsev finished the Children’s and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve Sraptak-2 in Moscow, later played in the reserve team of FC Torpedo for a year and then spent the same period at FC Spartak-2. The player made his first senior-level appearance during the Russian First Division fixture against FC Ural, scoring a goal on his debut. He took part in 13 fixtures playing for FC Sportakademklub Moscow and duplicated the number playing for the youth squad of FC Moscow.
The player joined FC Amkar Perm in 2010. He first featured with the youth team, but due to multiple injuries of first-team players was promoted to the senior squad of the club and scored the winner against FC Tom.
During the 2011/12 season Aleksandr played in 29 out of 30 matches during the first stage of the Russian Premier League, becoming a key-player for the club. During one of the toughest away fixtures versus FC Zenit St. Petersburg, he scored a magnificent equalizer, which helped his team to gain a sensational draw against one of the strongest sides in the Russian football.
His two spectacular strikes against FC Rostov and FC Zenit were named goals of the season according to the club’s fans.
