Aleksandr Ryazantsev is a winger, born on 5 September, 1986 in Moscow. Since his early childhood, Aleksandr was a student of Torpedo Moscow CYSS. At the age of 17 he earned the right for the captaincy and became the champion of Russia. In 2004, under the guidance of Slutsky, Ryazantsev won the doubles championship. In that same year Ryazantsev made his debut in Russian Premier League for FC Moscow.
Aleksandr didn’t enjoy playing for FC Moscow and refused to renew the contract being imposed to disciplinary sanctions. The head coach Yuri Belous deprived Ryazantsev of match practice until the end of 2004/05 season.
In 2006 Ryazantsev moved to Rubin Kazan, where he successfully secured a regular spot in the first team and became one of the most prominent discoveries of the Premier League in 2006. Ryazantsev scored 5 goals in the first half of the season, including a goal against his former club FC Moscow. Further developments stalled as Aleksandr suffered an injury during a match against Saturn and recovered only by the end of the season. In 2008, after the recovery period, Ryazantsev and Rubin won Russian championship.
Ryazantsev debuted for Russia U-17 in 2003 and for U-21 in 2006, in a match against the youth team of Belarus. On 31 December, 2009, Aleksandr extended the contract with Rubin Kazan until 2013. As part of Rubin, Aleksandr became twofold Premier League Champion and won Russian Super Cup.
In 2009 Ryazantsev was named among 33 best players of the Russian Championship.
Having made over 150 appearances for Rubin, Ryazantsev completed a move to Zenit St.Petersburg in 2014.
Since 2011 Aleksandr Ryazantsev has been called up to represent Russian national team.
