Aleksandr Yerokhin is a midfielder, currently playing for FC Krasnodar. He was born on 13 October 1989 in Branaul, Russia.
Aleksandr was one of the most talented young players at the football academy of Dynamo Barnaul. Soon the midfielder was invited to the youth academy of Lokomotiv Moscow where he played during the next few years. At the age of 17 he joined Sheriff Tiraspol and surprisingly quickly made it into the starting lineup. In his debut season at Sheriff he became the top scorer of the club, having netted 16 goals. The midfielder consistently scored more than 10 goals in a season, and in 2010 he had a chance to score a goal on the European football arena.
Yerokhin helped Sheriff to get into the group stage of the Europa League, as he netted a goal in the match against Dynamo Kyiv. During his stay in Moldova Yerokhin won Moldovan Championship three times and became champion of both the Moldovan Cup and the Commonwealth of Independent States Cup.
The talented midfielder has attracted the attention of many clubs, but chose FC Krasnodar and signed a contract with the club on 27 December 2010.
Since 2011 Aleksandr Yerokhin plays for Russia-2.
