Alessandro Agostini is a defender for Torino. He was born on 23 July, 1979 in Vinci, Italy.
Agostini’s professional career started in 1996 when he signed for Fiorentina. During the first two seasons at Fiorentina Alessandro made only 13 appearances for the club.
In 1998 Fiorentina decided to send the young footballer on loan to Pistoiese, where he stayed for two seasons, playing in 33 matches.In 2000 Alessandro continued his loan career at Ternana, with 34 appearances in the 2000/01 season.
In 2002 Agostini signed a permanent 2-year contract with Empoli. After half a season Alessandro was loaned out to Siena, where he played 11 matches. In January 2004 Alessandro was loaned to Cagliari.
In 2004 the loan spell with Cagliari expired but the club management decided to purchase Agostini, making him a permanent player of the club. Since the summer of 2004 the Italian defender was one of the pillars of Cagliari defensive line with 266 appearances.
In 2012 he moved to Torino but was sent on loan to Serie B side Verona.
