Alessandro Lucarelli is defender for Parma F.C. He was born on 22 July 1977 in Livorno, Italy.
Alessandro’s professional career started in 1996, after he signed for Piacenza. During his debut season at Piacenza Lucarelli made a few appearances and was sent to Leffe on loan for the 1997/98 season, where he featured in 29 matches.
In 2002 Lucarelli joined Palermo on a 1-year contract. During the 2002/03 season he made 28 appearances. In 2003 Alessandro was transferred to Fiorentina. During the 2003/04 season the Italian defender made 31 appearances for the Florentine team. In 2004 Lucarelli signed a contract with Livorno and scored 4 goals in 27 appearances during the 2004/05 season.
In 2005 Alessandro was purchased by Reggina. During 2 years with the club’s first squad Lucarelli became a key defender and netted 4 goals in 67 matches. In January 2007 Lucarelli joined Siena and spent half a season sitting on the bench. In the summer of 2007 Alessandro signed for Genoa, where he made a total of 29 appearances and scored 1 goal.
In 2008 Lucarelli signed for his current Parma, where he has established himself as both the key center and left back. Alessandro’s big experience and reliability are they key factors for his constant presence in Parma’s starting lineup. Since 2008 Lucarelli has made 136 appearances and netted 7 goals for Parma.
