When Alessandro was five, he started his career at Cittadella del Capo youth team. The little boy caught the eye of many well-known football clubs like Parma and Juventus. Juventus was persistent in its desire to get this young footballer, but his parents preferred the first option. From 1993 to 2002 Ale Rosina played for Parma youth team.
In 2002 Alessandro signed his first professional contract and joined Parma’s first team. In 2005 Rosina was on loan to Hellas Verona and then he moved to the football club Torino from Turin.
In the 2008/2009 season he had to face fans’ discontent, so he decided to leave Torino in order to avoid confrontation. From the list of options the Italian football player chose Zenit St. Petersburg who were able to pay €8 million for the transfer.
In the summer 2012 Rosina returned to Italy and joined Serie A club Siena. Two years later he switched for Catania.
