Alessio Cerci is an Italian winger for Torino F.C. He was born on July 23, 1987 in Velletri, Italy.
Alessio kicked off his career as a youngster with Roma, signing his first professional deal in 2003. But the young talent warmed the bench most of his time before finally making his Serie A bow aged just 16. He was introduced as a replacement for Daniele Corvia in the match against Sampdoria. In 2006 Cerci embarked on a loan spell at Brescia Calcio, where he figured 21 times without finding the back of the net.
The cultured winger was loaned out to Pisa ahead of the 2007/2008 campaign. That loan stint stood him in good stead as the player battled back to fitness and fired 10 goals in 26 league starts. The following season saw him wear the jersey of Atalanta.
In 2010 Alessio was on the move again, agreeing a deal with Fiorentina. In two full seasons with La Viola, he managed 12 goals in 47 outings. In the summer of 2012 Cerci left the club for Torino.
The flamboyant winger made his U-16 debut for Italy in 2003. He also represented Squadra Azzurra at U-17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 levels.
