Alexander Geynrikh is an Uzbekistani forward currently playing for Aktobe in the Kazakhstan Premier League. He was born on 6 October 1984 in Angren, Uzbek SSR.
Alexander began his senior career with FC Dustlik but brought out his potential and won his first silverwares – Uzbek League and Uzbek Cup – with Pakhtakor Tashkent in 2002. Geynrikh had several spells at the club the most prolific one running from 2007 till 2011. For that period the striker scored 39 goals in 73 league matches helping his side to win the Uzbek League and Cup in 2007. In the 2011 season, he helped Suwon Bluewings to win the Korean FA Cup. In 2012, Geynrikh moved to Kazakhstan where he joined FC Aktobe and plays for the club today.
Alexander Geynrikh is regularly capped to the Uzbekistan national team since 2002. In 2011, he was an instrumental player in the AFC Asian Cup as his side reached the semi-finals.
