Alexander Kačaniklić is a midfielder of Fulham. He was born on 13 August 1991 in Helsingborg, Sweden.
In 2000 Alexander joined the Helsingborg IF academy and started to comprehend football in all its minutest details. The young footballer trained in the local club during seven years before his talent drew the attention of Liverpool, which hastened to win Kačaniklić over to their academy. He trained in the Merseyside club from 2007 till 2010.
In 2010 the footballer’s professional career took off, but not in Liverpool. London side Fulham bought the Swedish player and signed a long-term contract with him. Alexander spent a year and a half in the club and made four appearances before being sent on loan to English side Watford, where he performed in the second half of 2011/2012, took part in 12 matches and netted one goal. After the end of his loan spell, Kačaniklić returned to Fulham. In 2013 the Swede served a loan spell at Burnley.
From 2006 till 2009, Alexander made 17 appearances and contributed two goals for the Sweden national U-17 and U-19 teams. On 15 August 2012, the footballer got his first senior cap in the friendly against Brazil, coming as a substitute after 64 minutes of the match, but national team lost 0-3.
