Alexandr Kokorin

Alexandr Kokorin is a lightning-fast striker for Dynamo Moscow. He was born on March 19, 1991 in the Russian city of Valuiki.

His professional career got underway in 2002. Since then he has got interested in senior football. Following his successful trial with Lokomotiv Moscow, Kokorin enlisted in the club's football academy. For 6 years, the young striker trained hard and started preparing for a professional football career. In 2008 Kokorin caught the attention of Dynamo Moscow scouts who were in pursuit of promising players. Alexandr had a trial with a club and after a couple of confident displays he signed a long-term deal.

After 114 matches for the club Kokorin switched for Anzhi Makhachkala in the summer 2013. However, a couple of weeks later the player rejoined his former club after the crisis at Anzhi.

In 2008 the head coach inserted Alexandr in the starting lineup but the striker scored only 9 goals. Despite his poor finishing, he has already played more than a hundred matches for the club since 2008. Since 2011 he has been playing for the Russia national team. Alexandr is tipped for a big future in the world of football.
