Alfred N’Diaye is a French midfielder of Senegalese descent born on 6 March 1990 in Paris, France. He is a player of Sunderland.
Groomed at AS Nancy youth system, Alfred joined the first team of the club in 2008. After brilliant performances against Lille and Paris Saint-Germain at the beginning of the season, he was established as a regular starter in the squad. In 2011, N’Diaye moved to Turkey and joined Süper Lig club Bursaspor where he played for two years amassing 37 appearances.
On 9 January 2013, N’Diaye signed a contract with the Premier League side Sunderland. He got off to a flying English start almost scoring during his debut match against West Ham United on 12 January.
N’Diaye was loaned to Eskisehirspor and Real Betis in the 2013/2014 season.
Alfred N’Diaye was an international for France at various youth levels from U17 to U21. He was part of the U17 squad that reached the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup quarter-finals and helped the U19 team to climb up to the 2009 UEFA European U-19 Football Championship semifinals.
