Aly Cissokho is a left back of Valencia.
His career began in Gueugnon when he was 18 and had his French-Senegalese passport. In 2008 he joined FC Vitória (Setúbal) but only for half a year because later he was acquired by Porto.
In the previous season Cissokho played 4 games in the Champions League (two of them against Atlético Madrid and two against MU). Featuring for Porto the footballer won the Portuguese League and took the Cup.
Many clubs took notice of Cissokho at the turn of May. Mainly French clubs were interested in him but English, Spanish and German clubs paid their attention to him as well.
The managers of FC Lyon were the first to make a serious offer which was later accepted by the footballer, but not for long. Soon he preferred transferring to Milan; however the doctors found certain dental problems that became an obstacle to his transfer. Ali rejoined Lyon on 18 July 2009.
After three years with Olympique Aly moved to Valencia CF in 2012 but was loaned to Liverpool for the season 2013/2014.
