A Portuguese footballer Eurípedes Daniel Adão Amoreirinha was born on 5 August 1984 in Vila Franca de Xira, Lisbon.
His junior career started in 1996 at the academy of Benfica, where he studied during three years. In 1999 the young defender was noticed by Alverca. Amoreirinha joined the club’s youth department, where he spent the last years of his junior career before being promoted to the senior level. In 2003, the club’s management promoted him to the main team, where he played during a season. In total, he made 31 appearances and scored two goals.
In 2004, he opted to join Benfica. But hardly had he appeared 8 times, when he was sent to serve loans. His first temporary club was Estoril and the second one was Estrela Amadora. For the latest the footballer made 49 appearances.
In 2007, after the spell with Benfica had come to an end, Amoreirinha moved to Romania, where he performed for CFR Cluj. But he didn’t settle into the team. After he had made 2 appearances, he was loaned out by UTA Arad.
In 2009, the footballer came back to his motherland to play for Académica. Daniel spent two seasons with the club, making 24 appearances.
In the summer 2011, a move to Vitória de Setúbal happened.
Two years later Amoreirinha moved to India and joined Churchill Brothers SC.
In 2002, the footballer got his first call for the Portugal U-19 team. He made 13 appearances and netted one goal for the squad during the 2002/2003 season. The following season Amoreirinha was called up 10 times to play for the U-20 team. He also used to be a member of the U-21 team, making 12 appearances and scoring one goal.
