André Micael is a Portuguese defender born on 4 February 1989 in Guimarães, Portugal.
The footballer emerged through Moreirense’s youth system. He spent many years at the academy of this club becoming one of its best products which earned him an offer to join the main team.
In 2007 Micael finally prepared to start his career in professional football. In the summer 2007 he signed a contract under which he officially joined Moreirense. For many seasons the defender periodically got into the starting XI; however he didn’t become the key player because the head coach had a large number of footballers capable of showing more solid performance than André.
In the summer 2010 several Portuguese clubs offered the footballer to join them. Olhanense made Micael the most advantageous offer and the footballer in his turn decided to sign for this club. During the first season Micael made several appearances, and in the following season he began to appear in the starting eleven more ofter, gradually winning the trust of the Olhanense head coach.
In the summer 2013 Micael joined a Polish side Zawisza Bydgoszcz.
