Andrea Campagnolo is a goalkeeper for Cesena. He was born on 17 June, 1978 in Bassano del Grappa, Italy.
Andrea’s professional career started in 1995 as he joined for his alma mater Cittadella. During two years at Cittadella, Campagnolo was only a backup goalkeeper and never made a single appearance in the starting lineup. A similar situation occurred at Roma, where Andrea stayed between 1997 and 2000. In 2000, Campagnolo signed another deal with Genoa. However, for his two-year spell at Genoa, Andrea played only league 4 matches.
In 2002 Andrea Campagnolo completed a move to Vicenza. Unfortunately, Andrea couldn’t do anything with the fact that he was only the second goalkeeper. All the clubs that Andrea joined already had highly professional first goalkeepers. In 2003 the situation changed a bit, as Andrea moved to Triestina and defended its goal in 48 appearances. In the 2005/06 season, Campagnolo played for Cagliari, making a total of 11 appearances as the club first-choice goalkeeper. The period from 2006 to 2009 was the best of Andrea’s professional career. For three years the Italian goalkeeper played 92 matches for Reggina.
In 2009 Andrea Campagnolo signed a contract with Sicilian side Calcio Catania, but played only 8 matches in 3 seasons at the club as the second-choice goalkeeper.
In 2012 Andrea Campagnolo was signed by Siena on a permanent basis. In 2013 Andrea signed a new deal with Serie B side Cesena.
