Andrea Catellani is a striker for Spezia Calcio. He was born on 26 May, 1988 in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
Andrea began his youth career playing in Calcio Catania youth system. For many years a young striker played for junior squad and was considered one of the Catania prodigies.
In 2005 Calcio Catania and AC Reggiana concluded a co-ownership agreement to share rights for Catellani. From 2005 to 2007 Andrea was a key striker for Reggiana, with 15 goals in 77 matches.
In 2007 the Italian striker moved to Catania, where he made 13 appearances and netted 1 goal in the 2007/08 season. After a season at Catania Andrea was sent to Modena on loan. From 2008 to 2010, the striker was a key player of Modena attacking lineup. Andrea justified the head coach’s trust by netting 16 goals in 68 appearances.
In 2010 Andrea was loaned to U.S. Sassuolo, where he made 33 appearances and scored 4 goals during the 2010/11 season. In 2012 the club decided to extend the loan contract with Catellani for another year.
After three years with Sassuolo Catellani switched for Spezia in August 2013.
