Andrea Masiello is an Italian defender born on 5 February 1986 in Viareggio, Italy.
Andrea began his professional career in 2003 playing for AS Lucchese. For two years he starred for the club youth team and even twice was included into the major squad.
In 2005 Masiello moved to Juventus FC and after signing a contract he was loaned to US Avellino. During the 2005/06 season the player featured in 39 matches and netted 1 goal. In 2006 an Italian defender joined AC Siena but he did not appear in a single match. In 2007 Andrea switched to Genoa CFC where he periodically appeared in the starting lineup. During the 2007/08 season he made 19 total appearances scoring 1 goal.
In 2008 the player was given out on loan to AS Bari for which he performed in 20 matches for half a year until the summer of 2008. In the summer of that year Bari management resolved to buy him out from Genoa. After signing a contract the defender officially joined the club. Besides, the head coach entrusted him the place in the defence practically at all matches throughout three seasons. From 2008 till 2011 Masiello netted 3 goals in 112 matches for AS Bari.
In 2011 an Italian defender agreed to a contract with Atalanta BC and stayed with the club for one year.
From 2004 till 2006 Andrea starred for Italy at U-18, U-19 and U-20 levels thus participating in 21 games.
