Andrea Orlandi Stabilin was born on 3 August 1984 in Barcelona, Spain. He began to play football in the academy of Alavés. Andrea’s professional career took off in the same club, when he penned a professional contract. The footballer was sent to Alavés B and later got to the main team, but made only two appearances for it.
In 2005 Orlandi returned to his native town to join Barcelona on loan. The footballer did not manage to clinch a place in the main team and performed for Barcelona B, where he took part in 67 matches and netted five goals.
In May 2006, Andrea made his first and last appearance for the main team of the temporary club. In 2007, he completed a move to Welsh side Swansea City on a one-year deal and made his début for the new club in September. Orlandi soon became an integral part of the team and extended his contract for another year.
In January 2009, Andrea fired his first goal for the club. After the end of the 2008/2009 season, ‘The Swans’ decided to extend the player’s contract for one year. He was let on the pitch more often during the following season and prolonged his contract for another year after it.
In January Orlandi was offered to sign for Dutch side ADO Den Haag on loan, but he decided to stay in the Welsh club till the end of the season. In April 2012, the footballer became known for the fastest goal in the Premier League, belting the ball into the net in the 24th second of the match against Wolverhampton.
From 2012 to 2014 the player featured for Brighton and Hove Albion.
