Andrea Poli is a midfielder for AC Milan. He was born on 29 September 1989 in Vittorio Veneto, Italy.

A season later the management of Sampdoria decided to send Poli out on loan to Serie B Sassuolo Calcio where he scored 5 goals in 32 appearances for the 2008/09 season.
After returning to Sampdoria Andrea was periodically allowed to start matches of the home club. But it wasn’t enough for the young midfielder who wanted to join the Italian national team.
In 2011 Sampdoria loaned Poli to Inter. Andrea was eager and excited to play for Italian Serie A giants. During the 2011/12 season Andrea appeared in 20 games for the Nerazzurri.
In the summer 2013 Milan bought out his contract.
From 2006 to 2010 Andrea was regularly called up to represent various Italian youth teams. For 4 years of international career Poli wasn capped 36 times and scored 15 goals. Since 2012 Poli has represented the Italy national football team.
