Andreas Klarström is a defender who currently plays for Elfsborg. He was born on 23 December 1977 in Borås, Sweden.

Andreas played for the youth team of Elfsborg, before signing a professional agreement with the club in 1996. From 1996 to 1998 he made several appearances for the first team, playing the role of a midfielder predominantly.

In 1998 Klarström was loaned out to IK Start for half a year. He registered 6 appearances for the club and returned to Elfsborg in October 1998. After that time he became a first-team regular at Elfsborg. From 1996 to 2006 Klarström made a total of 162 appearances and netted 18 goals.

In 2006 the footballer moved to Esbjerg. He quickly established himself as one of the key players in the team. During his 2006-2010 stay at the club Andreas featured in 117 matches.

In 2010 Klarström returned to Elfsborg. Since then he has made over 60 appearances for the club, playing as central defender.
