Andriy Tsurikov plays as a midfielder for FC Metalurh. He was born on 25 October 1992 in Zaporizhia, Ukraine.
Tsurikov started his youth career in FC Metalurh football academy, where the midfielder trained for four years. During this training period Andriy played for the academy youth team, appearing often in the starting line-up. In 2009, the footballer grew into a professional footballer and signed his first contract with FC Metalurh for several years. Thereafter, Andriy played for Metalurh-2 Zaporizhya, where the footballer featured only in 6 matches, scoring 1 goal.
The same year, Tsurikov became a candidate to perform for the first team of FC Metalurh. The manager approved the player’s promotion, making him a part of the first team. Andriy Tsurikov has been training with the main squad for three seasons, however, his role in the team is of a substitute player. Although Tsurikov is young, he is a promising footballer. The coach keeps a close eye on him, as he believes in the Ukrainian midfielder’s great potential. During three seasons Andriy appeared on the field in more than 20 matches, getting on the score sheet.
In January 2013 he was signed by Dynamo Kyiv.
In 2008, Andriy Tsurikov celebrated his international debut, performing for the Ukraine national U-17 team in five matches. In 2010, Tsurikov performed for the Ukraine national U-19 team, making 7 caps.
