A Spanish footballer Ángel Sánchez Martín performs as a left defender for AD Alcorcón. Ángel was born on 15 January 1982 in Béjar, Salamanca.
Sánchez Martín came from the youth ranks of Real Madrid. In 2000, after graduating from the club’s academy, the young defender was selected for the reserve team of Alavés. In 2001, after producing a good performance during his debut season, the footballer was promoted to the club’s B squad. The time spent playing for the reserves was lined with three goals scored in 57 matches.
In 2003, Ángel became the member of the first team of Alavés. He remained at the club until 2008. In 2005, the defender spent a season-long loan at Ciudad-Murcia. The season was lined with 16 appearances made. After the temporary contract came to an end, Martín returned to his parent club, where he continued his performance. Altogether, he appeared 89 times for Alavés. In 2008, the footballer’s contract was bought out by Levante. Ángel spent two seasons at the club appearing 38 times.
In the summer 2010, a move to Alcorcón took place. From the very beginning, Sánchez Martín started to make frequent appearances for the team. The two seasons were lined with two balls racked up in 67 club’s fixtures.
