Angelo Palombo is a midfielder of Sampdoria football club. He was born on 25 September 1981 in Ferentino, Italy.
Angelo professional career started in 2001 when he signed his first contract with Fiorentina. Angelo was a promising player so he had a wide range of clubs to choose but the Violet was the most interesting and perspective variant for the player. Palombo made several appearances for the club during his debut season but didn’t manage to become a core player.
In 2002 the Italian put a pen to paper of a contract with Serie A club Sampdoria. His craft and constantly good club performances quickly made the player an undisputed starter of the club. He was an indispensable midfielder for the Blucerchiati and managed to make 317 appearances and amass 11 goals between 2002 and 2012.
After the team’s relegation to Serie B in 2011, Palombo again became a tasty morsel for many Italian teams. In January 2012 he was loaned to Inter Milan and took part in several fixtures of the team. Then he returned to Sampdoria.
Since 2006 to 2011 Angelo Palombo had been capped 22 times for the Italy national team.
