A Brazilian footballer Anselmo Ramon Alves Erculano plays as a striker for Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. He was born on 23 June 1988 in Camacari.
Anselmo grew up in a youth team of Bahia, where he studied the football in its’ minutest details. He was a highly-rated young player, when he was poached by promoted Cruzeiro. So, in 2007, Ramon put pen to paper of his first pro contract and officially became a senior player.
To gain the optimal shape the footballer needed more playing time, than the team’s head coach coul give him, that’s why a number of loans followed. In 2008, Anselmo was sent to Itaúna and in a year he was a member of another temporary club – Cabofriense. He’d made 14 appearances for the squad, before he moved to Japan, where he signed a temporary deal with Kashiwa Reysol. In 2010, Ramon was loaned to a couple of clubs. During that year he played for Rio Branco, Avaí and CFR Cluj, making only occasional appearances for each of them. In 2011, the striker came back to his motherland, where a loan stint at Oeste took place. In total, he featured in 17 games and racked up 10 goals for the temporary team.
After the spell with Oeste had come to an end, Anselmo returned to Cruzeiro. In 2011, the striker together with the squad was crowned champion of Campeão Paulista do Interior.
