A French football player Anthony Modeste (born on April 14, 1988) is a striker.
His professional career started in Nice. In January 2008 he celebrated his first goal in Ligue 1 – in a match against Rennes FC. He scored 3 goals in 42 matches for the club.
In 2009/2010 Anthony played for Angers SCO in Ligue 2. 20 goals in 37 matches made him one of the best forwards of the tournament.
In the summer 2010 the player was bought by Bordeaux for €3.5 million. Being in the list of the first team players, he made 13 goals in 51 games. In the winter 2012 he was loaned by Blackburn Rovers, and in the summer 2012 he joined Bastia FC on loan.
Since 2013 Modeste has represented a German outfit Hoffenheim.
