Anthony Réveillère is an attacking right-back. He was born on 10 November 1979 in Doué-la-Fontaine, France.
Anthony’s youth career began in Angers where he played in the youth team and attended the club’s academy.
In 1998 Antony began his professional career. Rennes was the first club that signed the footballer to a five-year contract. Throughout the time Antony enjoyed confidence of the coach who put the player in the starting lineup for almost every match. During five years with the club Réveillère participated in 140 games and netted 2 goals.
A new stage in Antony’s career started in 2003. He was called up to Spanish Valencia, but after half a year in this club Antony returned having played 18 matches for the club.
In the summer of the same year Antony enjoyed the offers from numerous French clubs. The club to sign a long-term contract with the right back was Lyon. During 10 years he took part in 286 games of the club. In 2013 Anthony was released from the club and stayed outof football for some time. In November 2013 he was offered a contract with an Italian outfit Napoli.
From time to time he has been invited to the France national team since 2003.
