Anthony Ujah is a footballer from Nigeria, born in 1990. Currently he plays for FC Köln as a striker, loaned from 1. FSV Mainz 05. He began playing football at the youth team of Abuja F.C. and then joined Kano Pillars. Then Anthony Ujah played for the Nigerian Warri Wolves F.C. and in January 2010 left it for the Norwegian team Lillestrøm. On 3 March 2011, he netted four goals in a 7-0 win against Stabæk. He proved himself a good scorer netting 32 goals in 42 games he featured for Lillestrøm. He attracted clubs from Ligue 1, Eredivisie and Bundesliga.
In June 2011 the striker joined 1. FSV Mainz 05 and on 4 November 2011 he scored twice in the match against VfB Stuttgart, which was a 3-1 win. At the end of the summer 2012 Ujah was sent to 1. FC Köln on a loan deal.
In May 2012 he earned his first international cap, playing for the Nigeria national U23 team.
