Anthony Weber was born on 11 June 1987 in Strasbourg. A footballer is attached to French club Stade de Reims. He plays as a central defender under the number 25.
At the age of five, Anthony joined his first club AS Educative Cité de l’Ill, where he spent 6 years. When he was 11, he moved to Strasbourg, the main football club of his hometown. In 2006, Weber with the U-18 squad won the Coupe Gambardella. In a year, he was promoted to the main team. He had time to make 4 appearances, before the squad was relegated to the second division. He was loaned to Paris the next winter and joined the club on a permanent basis in 2009. In 2011, Weber found himself at Reims, which got promotion to the top flight. As of October 2012, he made 23 appearances for the French side.
Heading the ball is one of Weber’s hobbyhorses as he is very tall - 1.90m. He is often compared to Leonard Specht, because Anthony is able to choose the right position and can be called a pivot of the defense. Besides, he is a solid player with excellent playing skills.
