A French footballer Antoine Devaux was born on 21 February 1985 in Dieppe. He currently plays as a defender for Reims.
In 2004, Antoine gave a start to his professional career. He signed his first contract with Le Havre. The club secured him as the reserve player, because the starting line-up had already been formed. Devaux spent three years with Le Havre, amassing 49 appearances.
In 2007, he was sent on loan to Gueugnon, where he was supposed to gain necessary experience. In the temporary club he wasn’t a part of the head coach’s plan, so he appeared in 4 matches only and even netted one goal.
In 2008, after coming back from loan, Devaux started to get offers from various French clubs. The player set his choice on Boulogne, as it lodged a tempting bid for him and proposed a lucrative contract. In the 2008/2009, the Frenchman was an anchor player; he went on field 31 times and scored 4 goals.
A new contract with Toulouse was offered on 19 June 2009. Devaux was happy to get promotion to the Ligue 1, where he could gain absolutely new playing experience.
Antoine ended his Toulouse spell with Reims move in 2012.
