Anton Kanibolotskiy is a goalkeeper for Shakhtar Donetsk. He was born on 16 May 1988 in Kiev, Ukraine.
Anton started playing football at ATEK Kyiv. He debuted in the Ukrainian junior football league in 2003, while defending the colors of FC Vidradnyi Kyiv. In 2004 Anton moved to FC Lokomotyv-MSM-OMIKS Kyiv youth squad. In the summer of 2005 Kanibolotskiy joined Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on his first professional contract.
Three years later, on 23 November 2008, Kanibolotskiy debuted in the Ukrainian championship in a home match against Tavriya Simferopol. In the second half of the 2009/2010 season Anton was loaned to Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih, for which he played 12 matches in the second half of 2009/10.
After the loan spell ended Anton returned to Dnipro and was made a reserve goalkeeper. After two seasons of warming the bench the goalkeeper decided to leave the club, and on 24 July, 2012 Kanibolotskiy joined Shakhtar Donetsk on a five-year contract.
Anton has great experience of playing for Ukraine U-21. He debuted for the youth team on 5 February 2008, in a match against Sweden. Since then Anton was periodically called up to Ukraine U-21. In 2011 he took part in the European Youth Championship.
