Anton Rogochiy was born on January 23, 1982 in Rostov-on-Don, the Soviet Union.
In 1998 Anton started his senior career with the third-division side FC Rostselmash-2, where he featured in 29 games and was subsequently promoted to the first team of FC Rostselmash that was renamed to FC Rostov in 2003. During a nine-year stint at the club, Rogochiy appeared in 105 Russian Premier League matches, 10 Russian cup games, one Russian Premier League Cup match and featured in four UEFA Intertoto Cup games.
In 2009 the defender joined the second-tier club FC Vityaz Podolsk where he featured in 26 matches and then moved to FC Baltika Kaliningrad. In the summer 2010, the footballer signed for FC Kuban Krasnodar and on August 13, 2010 made his debut for the squad coming as a starter against FC Ska-Energiya Khabarovsk. That season he consequently made 8 more appearances and helped his team to get a promotion to the Russian Premier League.
In the winter 2010, it was reported that Kuban was not going to prolongate the agreement with Anton Rogochiy. Still, in January 2011 the footballer joined the squad at their pre-season training camp, where he signed a new one-year contract supplied with the option to extend for one year.
In 2013 Anton moved to FC Khimki, later on to Spartak Nalchik and to Sibir Novosibirsk.
