Anton Sosnin was born on January 27, 1990 in Leningrad, the Soviet Union. He currently plays as a midfielder for FC Kuban Krasnodar.
After playing as a youth at Smena-Zenit, Anton was noticed by the FC Zenit reserve team manager Igor Chugainov and became the part of the Zenit second side in 2006.
In the summer 2010, the player moved on loan to FC Krylia Sovetov Samara. On September 12, 2010 Anton made his Russian Premier League debut against FC Spartak Nalchik where he helped his team to beat the rivals 2-0 with his splendid assist. Later the footballer decided to stay in Samara and in the winter 2010, the midfielder signed a permanent deal with Krylia Sovetov. All in all he featured in 42 games for the club.
In January 2012, Anton Sosnin left for FC Kuban Krasnodar and on March 3, the player made his first official appearance for the new team coming on as a starter against FC Zenit St. Petersburg.
As an international player Sosnin played in U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-20 Russia national football teams and currently represents the Russia U-21 national squad.
