Arjan van Dijk is a goalkeeper of RKC Waalwijk. He was born on 17 January 1987 in Utrecht, Netherlands.
Arjan performed for several amateur clubs in his native city, but the footballer’s last team was Sporting ‘70, where he was noticed by Feyenoord scouts. Van Dijk moved to Rotterdam and spent several years in the youth system of the club, where he trained to become a goalkeeper. However, Arjan failed to make his senior début for Feyenoord.

In the winter 2010, Arjan penned a three-and-a-half-year contract with RKC Waalwijk, where he continues to perform up till now. The footballer made his début for the club on 3 September 2010 in the home 2-2 draw with FC Volendam. Van Dijk took part in 14 fixtures for Waalwijk as of November 2012.
