Arkadiusz Milik. Biography

Arkadiusz Milik is a Polish striker of Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga. He was born on 28 February 1994 in Tychy, Poland.

The product of Rozwój Katowice youth system, Arkadiusz made his first senior appearance for the fourth-division club in October 2010 marking his debut with a brace in a 4-0 win over KS Krasiejów. A promising 16-year-old was soon noticed by the Ekstraklasa side Górnik Zabrze and eventually joined the club in the 2011/12 season. Milik scored 11 goals in 38 appearances for the club during the campaign. In the winter 2012, German top-flight club Bayer Leverkusen sparked interest in the young hopeful and signed him from the Polish side until 2018. In the season 2013/2014 Milik played for Augsburg on loan.

Arkadiusz Milik featured for the Poland U17, U19 and U21 teams in 2011 and 2012. In October 2012, he made his debut for the senior Polish side in a match against South Africa.
