Artem Radchenko is a Ukrainian footballer who currently features as a midfielder at Metalist Kharkiv. He is an ex-player of the Ukraine national U-17 football team. He was born in Kharkiv.
Artem attended Metalist Kharkiv football academy featuring for it from 2008 to 2010 in the Ukrainian National Youth Competition. In 2009 Radchenko became a bronze medalist at this championship being acknowledged as the best midfielder.
Early in 2011 the young footballer joined Metalist reserve team, on 4 March of the same year he made his debut in the Ukrainian Premier Reserve League participating in a match against Vorskla second string team. On 14 May Artem netted his first goal for Yellow-Blues reserves distinguishing himself in a game against Illichivets Mariupol. In the 2010/11 season the footballer played 8 matches within the Ukrainian Premier Reserve League scoring 1 goal.
On 21 September 2011 the player made his debut for the club’s first team taking the field in the round of 16 match of the Ukrainian Cup against Beregvidek playing in the Second League. Radchenko appeared in the second half replacing Jonathan Cristaldo. The young footballer was only 16 years old at that time. On 12 November 2011 Artem scored a goal for Metalist senior team in a friendly match against Slavhlev.
In the 2011/12 season the Ukrainian midfielder gained entry to UEFA Europa League. On 30 November 2011 he made his debut in Europe featuring over several minutes against Austria Wien. That time Artem substituted José Ernesto Sosa during added time.
Over the period from 2010 to 2012 Radchenko was called up to the Ukraine national U-17 football team. The footballer featured in 29 games scoring 6 goals. Soon he stopped appearing for the team because he grew out of it.
