Arthur Boka is an Ivorian left back for VfB Stuttgart, born in the capital of Côte d’Ivoire, Abidjan.
Boka began climbing the football Olympus at the much famed youth system of ASEC Abidjan, based in his homeland. In its history the club has produced such famous footballers as Yaya Touré, Kolo Touré, Emmanuel Eboué, Aruna Dindane and others. In 2002 Arthur signed for Belgian club K.S.K. Beveren.
After two impressive seasons in Belgium, the back was purchased by French RC Strasbourg. However, in 2006 the club was relegated from Ligue 1, which made Boka leave France. In Germany Arthur joined VfB Stuttgart, where he became the 2006/07 Bundesliga winner. On 14 January 2009 the Ivorian was rewarded with a new deal, keeping him at Stuttgart until summer 2012. In May 2012 Boka signed a one-year extension with the club.
Arthur Boka is the Côte d’Ivoire international with 67 caps so far.
