Artur Kaskov plays as a striker for FC Metalurh Zaporizhya. He was born on 18 November 1991 in Zaporizhya, Ukraine.
Kaskov is a product of FC Metalurh, where he trained since 2004. The young player was lucky to train in FC Metalurh academy, as it is very prestigious in the region, and the first team performs in the Ukrainian Premier League. The young striker succeeded in the first year of training which contributed to the player’s rapid development.
At four-year stint at FC Metalurh academy Artur Kaskov grew into a professional football player. In 2008, Kaskov made his professional debut, having signed a professional contract with FC Metalurh.
That year Artur started to perform in the first reserve team of FC Metalurh-2 Zaporizhya, where Kaskov played with success during one season. He managed to net 6 goals in 18 matches, which allowed Artur to move one step closer to the first team. In 2009, the head coach decided to promote Kaskov to the first team.
Kaskov was provided with a lot of playing time. Despite the small number of goals scored in 2009, the manager used the player in his tactical formations as much as possible. In 2011, Kaskov went out on loan to FC Chornomorets Odessa, where he performed in 15 matches, but did not get on the score sheet.
In 2007, Artur Kaskov was called up to the Ukraine national U-17 team, playing in 3 games. From 2009 to 2010, the footballer also performed for the Ukraine national U-19 team, amassing 15 caps and scoring 1 goal.
