Artur Sarkisov is an Armenian forward, who was born on 19 January 1987.
Artur started playing football in his childhood and entered a football school at the age of twelve. In 2006, he signed his first professional contract with FC Reutov. In 2008 Sarkisov left for FC Lokomotiv-2, where he soon became one of the best goalscorers. He scored 31 goals in 42 matches for two seasons thus earning good ranking positions for the team. On 9 December 2010 Sarkisov signed a contract with FC Lokomotiv Moscow, but managed to make just one appearance for the Moscow side. In March 2011 he was sent on a two-year loan to FC Shinnik. In the summer of 2012, the footballer joined FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod. One year later he was invited to newly promoted Ural. In 2014 Sarkisov returned to Volga.
Artur Sarkisov is capped to the Armenia national team since 2011. The player made his international debut in a match against Lithuania on 10 August 2011. He scored his maiden international goal in a UEFA Euro 2012 qualifying match against Slovakia in September 2011.
