South African forward Ayanda Dlamini was born on 11 October 1984 in the city of Ulundi.
He began his career at lower-league clubs Mighty Tigers and Nongoma Citizen. In 2009, Dlamini enjoyed a meteoric rise signing for the Premier Soccer League side Amazulu where he plays till today. He got off to a flying start scoring a goal against giants Kaizer Chiefs already in his fourth match with the club. Dlamini impressed netting three goals in a 4-0 victory over Moroko Swallows in December 2009. Thanks to a string of his good club performances Ayanda was chosen for MTN8 matches in the 2009/10 season. Overall, Dlamini scored 23 goals in 94 league appearances for AmaZulu (as of 18 December 2012).
