Azat Bairyyev is a center back for Alania Vladikavkaz. He was born on 17 February 1989 in Tikhoretsk, Russia.
At the age of 6 Azat entered Tikhoretsk sports school. Azat’s first coach Sergei Bondarenko advised the managing staff of Kuban Krasnodar to invite Bairyyev to their youth academy. In 2007 the defender featured in 30 matches and managed 2 goals for the B-team of Kuban, and became the bronze medalist. In the 2008/09 season Bairyyev made 12 First Division appearances for Kuban’s first team, and won the silver medal. In the 2009/10 season Azat made 20 national championship appearances, one appearance in the Russian Cup, and 5 appearances for Kuban Krasnodar youth team. In the 2010/11 season Bairyyev played 7 matches in the Russian National Championship and one match in the Russian Cup. In January 2011 Bairyyev was sent out on loan to FC Dynamo Bryansk, where he played an entire season. In December 2011 Azat joined FC Alania Vladikavkaz on a long-term permanent basis.
In 2008 Azat Bairyyev made one appearance for Russia U-21 team.
