Aziz Ibragimov is an Uzbek attacker, born on 21 July 1986.
Aziz began his professional career when joined FC Traktor Tashkent playing in the Uzbek championship. During his year at the club the youngster was given enough playing opportunities to demonstrate his football talent. The head coach tried to use the player in a variety of tactical schemes, but Aziz failed to score even a single goal during his 16 appearances for the club throughout the season.
In 2005 the player moved to FC Shurtan Guzar, where he once again failed to open his goalscoring record during 11 first-team starts. In 2006 the player joined another Uzbek club FC Mash’al Mubarek. There he was mostly used as a backup for the first-team and failed to feature even in a single competitive fixture during his only season at the club.
In 2007 Aziz traveled to the Slovak capital Bratislava, where he clinched a deal with the local side FC Slovan Bratislava. There he finally managed to score his first competitive goal and became a regular first team member. As a result, he left the club at the end of 2007/2008 season after adding 29 appearances and 5 goals to his career stats. Then he received numerous offers from different Slovak, Slovenian and Czech clubs, and decided to continue his career at the Czech Gambrinus Liga side FC Bohemians 1905. Aziz managed to impress the club’s head coach with his performance on the pitch and despite scoring only one goal in 45 appearances for the club, he was always considered as a threat by the club’s opponents with his sharp passing and plenty of assists.
The player left the club in 2011 in order to join the Chinese Super League side FC Qingdao Jonoon.
At the international level, Aziz was first called to join his national team in 2007 and established himself as a regular member of the Uzbekistan starting XI.
