Baiano Carneiro is a defender of Braga. He was born on 23 February 1987 in Brazil.
In 2001 Baiano joined Vila Nova football academy where he spent five years. In 2006 he signed professional contract with Vila Nova. During half a year he took part only in several games for this club. In January 2007 the footballer was loaned to Rioverdense for the rest of the season.
In the summer 2007 the defender moved to CRAC but didn’t manage to prove his worth during half a year. In January 2008 Baiano penned a contract with Anápolis where he played until the summer 2008.
In the summer 2008 Carneiro joined the Portuguese side Belenenses where he spent the 2008/2009 season featuring in 8 games. In 2009 he moved to Paços de Ferreira which played in the Portuguese top division. During his two-year spell Baiano was one of the key defenders appearing in 53 matches.
In the summer 2011 the Brazilian defender sealed a long-term deal with Braga where he plays successfully until now.
