Ben Davies is a midfielder, born on 27 May 1981 in Walsall, England.
Ben’s career took off in Walsall after the footballer penned his first professional contract with the club. Davies failed to come on the pitch during his début season and decided to move to Kidderminster Harriers, where he spent two years. The midfielder made rare appearances for the new team as well, because the head coach used him as a reserve player. However, Ben did not share the manager’s opinion and wanted either to get a place in the starting line-up or leave Kidderminster Harriers.
In 2002, the footballer opted for the second option and transferred to Chester City, where he managed to show his best qualities and clinch a regular place. Davies took part in 155 fixtures and netted 16 goals for the club during four years.
In 2006, the midfielder sealed a deal with Shrewsbury Town and got a place in the starting XI at once. Ben featured in 115 games and amassed 30 goals for the team during three years.
In 2009, the footballer completed a move to Notts County and went on to net 20 times in 67 matches during two seasons. In 2011, Davies’s services were secured by Derby County.
In 2014 he had a loan spell with Sheffield United and later signed a permanent deal with the club.
