Ben Marshall is a winger of Blackburn Rovers. He was born on 29 September 1991 in Salford, England.
In 1997, Ben started to play football in the academy of top-flight Manchester United. The Englishman developed his best skills and trained to perform at the position of a winger, as he possessed all qualities to dominate on flanks. Marshall spent eight years in the youth system of ‘The Red Devils’ and moved to Crewe Alexandra in 2005. It took the footballer another four years to get ready for his professional start.
In 2009, Ben penned a senior contract with Stoke City and was immediately sent on loan to Northampton Town, where the winger made 15 appearances and netted two goals during six months. From the summer 2009 till January 2012, Marshall performed for Cheltenham Town, Carlisle United and Sheffield Wednesday on temporary basis. The player took part in 80 fixtures and amassed 13 goals during his loan spells.
At the beginning of 2012, Ben completed a move to Leicester City and found the net seven times in 56 matches for the club. In 2013 Marshall’s services were secured by Blackburn Rovers.
